For the Next Generation
Overview
Rooted in the community and contributing to its cultural growth—this has long been one of azuma's guiding commitments, and it remains an important part of who we are today.
The azuma Cup
azuma Cup High School Invitational Tennis Championship
Since 1990, the azuma Cup High School Invitational Tennis Championship has been held annually in the western region of Shizuoka Prefecture.
The tournament provides young athletes with an opportunity to develop both strong character and healthy bodies, while also creating opportunities for connection through sport. Over the years, it has become one of the ways azuma contributes to the growth of local sports and youth development.
The tournament is rooted in the belief that the spirit of fair play lies at the very heart of our corporate spirit. Through the azuma Cup, we express to society the principle of Integrity, Strength & Hope—the spirit we ask of everyone at azuma—and help keep it alive in the minds of all our employees.

A New Wooden Trophy Case
In 2025, with the generous support of Fujiichi Co., Ltd., we commissioned a custom-made wooden case for the women's championship trophy, crafted from Tenryu cedar.
